德国梅茨勒钢琴纪年表

1788年德国人瓦伦丁.梅茨勒（Valentin Metzler1759-1833）从德国莱茵河畔的宾根搬到伦敦。在英国伦敦的牛津街成立了梅茨勒公司。

瓦伦丁.梅茨勒Metzler&co 是一位音乐爱好者，也是英国伦敦的军乐器以及钢琴的制造商和经销商。同时也是著名的音乐出版商，出版的音乐作品从18世纪20年代到20世纪20年代，出版的作品主要是钢琴小曲以及独唱的歌曲，其中还包括小歌剧，其中最著名的是吉尔伯特和沙利文的魔法师。

1794年梅茨勒创建了自己的工厂，主要生产非常优质的管乐器。开始工厂规模很小，但到了1833年去世之前，梅茨勒管乐器已走向欧洲。

1816年梅茨勒的儿子乔治.理查德.梅茨勒（1797年-1867年）加入公司，公司更名为梅茨勒父子公司（Metzler&Son.1816年-1833年）乔治.理查德的加入使公司得到了飞速发展。

1833年公司名称再次更改为（Metzler&co 1833年-1931年） 这时创始人瓦伦丁.梅茨勒Valentin Metzler已逝世。

1836年梅茨勒钢琴发展至关重要的一年，钢琴行销整个欧洲，为梅茨勒钢琴发展成为欧洲知名的钢琴品牌奠定了基础。

1851年梅茨勒钢琴在伦敦世界博览会上赢得了大奖。

1867年梅茨勒公司由乔治.托马斯.梅茨勒（1835年-1879年）掌管，后来发展成为有限责任公司。

1893年梅茨勒公司新的股东加入，公司改为有限公司。

1931年被Cramer&Co 克莱默公司收购。

1964年被Kemble&Co 肯宝收购。

In 1788, a German worker named Valentin Metzler (1759-1833) moved from Bingen am Rhein to London, and created Metzler & Co at Oxford Street.

Metzler & Co was a music lover, also a manufacturer and distributor of military instrument and piano in London. Meanwhile, it was a famous music publisher, whose musical publications dated from 1720s to 1920s, mainly including piano songs and solos, as well as little operas, the most famous piece of which was the Magic of Gilbert & Sullivan.

In 1794, Metzler created his own factory, mainly to produce wind instrument of excellent quality. In the beginning, the factory was very small, but before his death in 1833, Metzler wind instrument had become popular in Europe.

In 1816, his son George Richard Metzler (1797-1867) joined the company, so the company was renamed Metzler & Son (1816-1833). The joining of George enabled rapid development of the company.

In 1833, the company was changed back to Metzler & Co (1833-1931), when the founder Valentin Metzler was already deceased.

The year of 1836 was critical to Metzler piano development, when its piano was marketed throughout Europe, laying a foundation for Metzler piano to become a renowned piano brand of Europe.

1851, Metzler piano won a prize at the Great Exhibition in London.

1867, Metzler & Co was managed by Thomas Metzler (1836-1879), and later it developed into a limited liability company.

In 1893, new shareholders joined the company to make it a limited company.

In 1931, it was acquired by Cramer & Co.

1944, it was acquired by Kemble & Co.

In the 21st century, Metzler piano is introduced into China.
