近日，在刚刚揭晓结果的2021 SSI Speech Meet这一国际性演讲赛事中，广州市为明学国际部7名学子获得佳绩。

2021 SSI Speech Meet，全称为2021 Southlands School International Speech Meet。这一赛事为中美项目合作学校——美国索斯兰学校所举办的校际演讲比赛，面向美国校区及全球范围内的海外校区。中国各校区经海选选出决赛参赛者，与世界各地的同龄人切磋交流。
此次赛事以锻炼公众演讲技能为契机，重在引导学生放眼世界，关注社会动态。
Our Mission:
1. To provide the students with the benefits of speech which extend far beyond competition.
2. To build confidence, spur creativity, encourage collaboration, improve communication,
and increase critical thinking skills to prepare students for the workplace.
3. To provide a valuable opportunity for English Language Learners to not only develop
their oral language skills but also further develop their reading, vocabulary, listening,
comprehension, and memorization skills. This offers them a unique opportunity to
master their presentations with practice and feedback from their teachers/coaches and
classmates.
Objectives:
1.Encourage effective speech in an audience setting
2.Help students develop techniques to speak audibly, articulately, expressively, and with
poise and confidence
3.Encourage students to use their speaking abilities to communicate their thoughts, ideas,
and knowledge to others
关于中美索斯兰项目
